Its updated midsole, the new Altra Quantic, also sheds weight while also providing you with a responsive and cushioned ride. Additionally, a removable StoneGuard can be inserted for the more technical trails and the rounded heel adds support so you can fly down the trails with confidence. Classic Altra features are also present in the Superior including the FootShape toe box for a natural toe splay and a ZeroDrop Platform to encourage proper, low-impact form for happy joints throughout your trail run.
