This RV single bowl bathroom sink has durable ABS plastic construction that is lighter and more eco-friendly than fiberglass. Brackets, hardware, and pre-installed mounting studs are included for installation. Compatible with a 3-hole faucet setup. Drop-in (or self-rimming) sinks are generally quicker and easier to install than undermount sinks, and they can be installed into any countertop material. They also have a lip on the perimeter, so that once the sink is installed, the weight of the sink and its contents are transferred over to the surrounding countertop. This better supports and secures the sink, whereas undermount sinks might fall if not installed properly. In addition, because all parts of drop-in sinks are visible, they are incredibly easy to clean. Installation This sink replaces or upgrades your existing bathroom. If not replacing an existing sink, a hole 1/2 to 5/8 smaller than the overall length and width of the sink must be cut in the counter top. Once the hole has been made, the sink just drops into place. Brackets, hardware, and the pre-installed mounting studs are included to secure the sink to the counter. The use of silicone sealant (sold separately) is recommended. Once installed, you can use the holes at the top of the sink to install a 3-hole faucet setup.
